About

Looking ahead at the NHS, the NHS long-term plan and the many innovations already underway in the NHS, pharmacy has a key role to play. The panel will discuss the role of community pharmacy, pharmacist prescribing, consultant pharmacists and advanced practitioners, and the many innovations within pharmacy that can support the NHS in these rapidly changing times. The event will consist of a number of key presentations, followed by an open discussion about the future of pharmacy. Whether you are in pharmacy or not – the potential of pharmacy is of interest to us all.

Panellists include Liz Butterfield, President of the Primary Care Pharmacy Association, as well as panellists from the National Pharmacy Association, the Pharmacy Schools Council and pharmacists who are working in innovative roles in the NHS.

The meeting will be chaired by Baroness Cumberlege and Professor Roger Williams
