The Conservative Education Society & Conservative Health were delighted to welcome:

Dr Ben Spencer MP, Psychiatrist & Work & Pensions Select Committee Member

This event explored and discussed policy related to children and families. It focused specifically on issues related to children's education and health, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on these, and how we might ensure that education and mental health outcomes are addressed post-pandemic. It also looked at the Government's 'levelling-up' agenda, and how we can best ensure that children from poorer socioeconomic backgrounds are given the best opportunities to succeed in life.

 

The Minister and Dr Spencer both spoke, before taking questions from the floor.
